TUXIS IS the High School Youth Group at the First Presbyterian Church of La Grange, Illinois USA.

What we choose TUXIS to be, in no particular order........
TUXIS is the High School Youth Group at FPCLG
TUXIS plays
TUXIS includes all who are involved in its mission: Kids, Advisors, Pastors, Parents
TUXIS is a reason to come to church
TUXIS is where kids bring their friends, and meet new ones
TUXIS is where the kids can practice and challenge their faith in safety
TUXIS places high value on all members & Advisors, and works together to provide meaning for all
TUXIS kids and are held accountable for its success, they plan, coordinate, etc.
TUXIS kids value and practice their role as members of the congregation
TUXIS acts as role models to the Faith Forest Children
TUXIS understands the value of human and economic resources, and choose to be good stewards of both
TUXIS kids see adult leadership as just that
TUXIS develops 30+ advisors from all age groups that are well coordinated and informed
TUXIS adopts a “buddy system” for all alums under 25
TUXIS leverages information technology in positive ways to make TUXIS most efficient
TUXIS parents have confidence in TUXIS, and are supportive in its mission
TUXIS Safety is practiced at all times, including adhering to the Youth Guidelines

Worktrip Post 2 - Too Funny

We are at Cedar Point, I am at a picnic area trying to select the photos to use for the video for next Sunday, and came across this photo. If this doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what will. One more stomach casualty as Blake has spent the morning vomiting. He made a fast recovery (no surprise given our plan for the day). All is well, all are safe, and we are having a great time! See you all tomorrow.
